Measuring staff productivity
You've heard it before, staff are any businesses most valuable asset. But which members of staff are the most valuable - The management team? The revenue earners? The strategists? The workhorses? The delivery team? The people you like on a personal level?
With experience at major brands such as Orange and Zurich Financial Services, we believe the most valuable staff are those who are emotionally committed to the success of their employer - staff who stretch themselves and do not work solely for financial and/or professional self-interest. And this is something which can be measured through internal communications.
Measuring staff productivity is useful in unlocking talent, implementing change and boosting business performance, as this quote by the Corporate Leadership Council points out: "Emotionally committed employees positively affect performance, as they value work, enjoy and believe in what they do. Their discretionary effort and willingness significantly boosts organisational results. The average percentage of 'True Believers' per company is 11% and no company had more than 25%".
